Last week, something small but meaningful happened. A group of us — a mix of teenagers and adults, cameras in hand and curiosity in our eyes — met for the very first time at Panamera Café for the launch of the Volcán Photo Club.

Some of us were seasoned hobbyists, others just getting started, but what connected us all was a shared love for seeing the world through a lens. We introduced ourselves, shared ideas, and dreamed up what this club could become — a space to learn, explore, and grow together as photographers.
It wasn’t about perfect photos (although I did manage to take one shot to mark the moment). It was about community, creativity, and the joy of paying attention.
We’re meeting again this Wednesday — and if you live in Volcán and love photography, you’re warmly welcome to join us.
