Session with Nathalyn – Professional Portraits in Volcán, Panama

Volcán, Panama

9th July 2025

Earlier this week, I spent a morning photographing my friend Nathalyn here in Volcán. She’s a mother of three young children, deeply involved in a local school project, and at the same time, carving out space for herself — exploring new career opportunities, building her own path.

She asked me for some portraits she could use on her upcoming website and professional profiles. Something that feels genuine and warm, but still polished and professional.

We kept it simple — a relaxed session at her place, with natural light and easy conversation. The best portraits, I think, come from that kind of connection.

Nathalyn was really happy with the photos — and that made me happy too. Instead of payment, I asked for something even better: recommendations to her friends. Slowly, step by step, I’m building a portrait portfolio here in Panama.

It’s exciting to capture people’s stories at moments of change. Especially in a place like Volcán, where so many are dreaming up new beginnings.
