Volcán, Panama
13th September 2025
Volcán is usually a quiet highland town, but on festival night the streets came alive with sound, colour, and energy. The main stage lit up with performances, while cars lined the streets with giant speakers blasting their own music — some glowing with lights, each corner turning into its own party.
Doralis Mela lit up the stage with her beautiful voice (Facebook | Instagram), while Kako Nieto made the accordion dance (Facebook | Instagram). Families, teenagers, and farm workers from nearby Paso Ancho and Cerro Punta all came together. The air was filled with the smell of food, beer, and rum, with laughter and shouts cutting through the music.
These photos capture the raw atmosphere of the night: the lights, the rhythms, and the emotions of a community celebrating side by side.
